I LIKE! Good story...Dana Delaney played her part well. I know that the whole CSI & forensics thing has been done to death, but hey, this show pretty much kept my attention for the whole show. Not an easy thing, with my ADD being what it is!

I read a review that it was pretty predictable and nothing really new. I have no doubt it it s a good show - because I like Dana Delaney. But, is it a knock off of any other shows - as far as characters and the plot?

I may catch it on ABC.com later on.

Man!!! So upset that I fell asleep while waiting for Dancing w/ the Stars 5 hour recap and missed Body of proof. I have been waiting for it for a month.

I loved Crossing Jordan and China Beach, so this is like a perfect combo of both. Crossingf my fingers that it is on On Demand. It looks good!

It's true that it's not very original, but good actors like Dana Delany can still make an unoriginal concept worthwhile, she's great, and overall I enjoyed it. A word of warning to those who like realism, this show requires a pretty strong suspension of disbelief, she's an ME with no police training or background out in the field interviewing witnesses, and basically solving the cases for the cops.

Fortunately, It seems like it's going to get into a lot of character development rather than just being a procedural. I'm interested to see where this brilliant and accomplished, yet struggling woman, who is also a less than perfect mother that lost custody of her daughter goes. Characterwise they are giving her a lot to work with so I'm sticking with this one to see where it goes.

It has promise.
This first episode was a bit predictable, but that has a lot to do with introducing the characters. Always liked the actress, so hope this turns out well.

Oh, and I think they need to lay off a bit on her going to every suspect/witness visit, or provide a better explanation. I realise it is a show, dramatic license and all, but it's a bit much.

Good grief. I agree. I was looking forward to this since I like DD and some of her previous shows (China Beach). Yikes. This was equal parts predictable, unrealistic, and crappy writing.

Oh it wasn't that bad. That last sentence describes all Network TV shows in the NCIS and CSI whatever category. If it's realism you want then limit it to A&E's The First 48, or else just go with the flow.

It was the first episode, so there was a lot of character introduction going on along with trying to set the tone of the show. It was watchable and a whole lot more entertaining than 2 hours of DWTS elimination activity.
