Billy was pretty good but he's so uncool. LOL I thought the emotion at the end of My Way was a poor acting job.
What he is, is gay.
I think he was well above the other 3 talent wise. I don't know what it's like growing up gay especially within the world of country music but I can imagine "My Way" had some poignance for him. It was great as was "Bye Bye Love" where despite Adams good try, he shined.
I like Sundance in second place, but "At Last" is one of those classics and though he sang it well., all I could think while listening is where is all the soul, and bluesyness that Etta James brought to it?
We, again as with "Home" was not a strong enough singer to convince on "Don't Rain on my Parade" (maybe I'm just too much of a Diana Ross fan )
Josh, is a nice enough guy and gets fourth place in my voting but I do think Ali belonged in the final and along with Sundance, she had a legitimate chance at winning it all
I'm surprised Sundance won. I disliked his over the top twang personally. But I wasn't allowed to express my opinion in my area because Porter is close to Houston so everyone was rooting for him I thought Billy would win, then We, then Sundance. All four are still fantastic, and Sundance is such a good person. He deserves all the best, and he has a wicked sense of humor!
I loved the contestants this season. They all were very kind and humble save Darby. That girl grated on my nerves. I was really glad when she went home.
