No way. That was a terrible era for women. I would never be able to convince then this wasn't witchcraft and I wasn't a witch. If they didn't burn me at the stake they would probably make me be a servant to some creepy old nobleman.

I'd just take TWD, then tell them it's what their future will be like

60 minutes to give them a glimpse of the future. Maybe a few Presidential Campaign ads also.

Isn't that what Medieval Europe would be like anyways?

1. The BBCs Planet Earth. Educational so I could help teach them things about what is beyond their borders/ships, etc.

2. Survivorman or one of those Bear Gryllis survival shows. Need this to help teach and remind me how to survive. There wont be any supermarkets or In-N-Out Burgers there. I'll need to know how to find food, make fire, survive.

3. Cosmos with Neil Degrasse-Tyson. Again, educational.

4. The Simpsons. So many episodes and they are all funny. I'd never get bored.

5. Game of Thrones. Simply because its one of my all time favorite shows.

I'll have to think about any additional shows I'd bring. Will post later.

And of course, after seeing what the future holds for them, they would, without a doubt, all commit suicide.

To hell with making them laugh. I'd load up the DVR with all the DIY, crafting, medical and cooking shows that I could so they could make life as advanced and as easy as possible so that I could live as comfortably and as long as I could. Life expectancies were short back then,

Even the most brilliant scientists of all time were destroyed or deeply marginalized by the condemnation of medieveal thought. You have to have the skills to deeply understand their society and its immense condemnation of anything which is not like them. You are going to be making 'magic' to them and *magic* belonged to faith and dogma. Individuals who were just 'different', and did not do anything to break the rules were blamed for god's plagues and tortured to death. With a modern mindset, you'll never get a chance to pass. Likely, you'd be burned to death as a heritic.

The medieval time was a horribly cruel time for anyone who could not be suitably submissive. Even the greats of the time which we hearld today often suffered and/or died badly.

I just realized I have three more shows that I can load into my TV. I'll add Mash, Cheers, and The Office. I'm more of a sitcom guy. I do like action/thriller stuff but that's more for the movies.

If I woke up in medieval Europe, I would devote all my time to re-inventing indoor plumbing and sanitation rather than watch TV.
