What a target-rich environment. It would be easier to list the 70s and 80s sitcoms that DIDN'T suck. On the "worst" list, I absolutely agree with listing M*A*S*H, which started out relatively funny and rapidly devolved into a big old anachronistic sermon. Virtually everything but "Bosom Buddies" was so annoying that it made my teeth itch. The 70s in particular were less a decade, than a big factory that produced suck.
I would say Full House or any show that props up a small child programmed to spout out sassy one liners. There are way too many to list. The Cosby Show stands out as one that was pretty good until they brought their version of the small sassy puppet. Can't remember the character's name though.

OH SWEET FANCY MOSES. I forgot all about "Full House" and "Charles in Charge" and "The Golden Girls". Any one of those was enough to make me want to drive nails into my head, but taken together...uck.
Speaking of MASH ... How about Hello, Larry for worst show of the 70s? The writers on Saturday Night Live certainly thought so. LOL.
On that one, we can agree!
