That took place in the 7th season, so maybe Sheldon, who aspires to be Spock, has carried the imitation to the pon farr cycle. If the show goes to a 14th season, we will see another romantic gesture from Sheldon, perhaps nibbling Amy's....."14!"
Thought the two episodes were pretty good & had their moments - however, it seemed that Leonard had the smallest part of anybody in the first two episodes. There was more Howard than him, and about as much Raj.
Thought it was funny how everybody is scared of Bernadette.
I agree. I sometimes wonder how that audition went. Did they ask:"now scream like an overprotective Jewish mother!"
All of the actresses are pretty, but I respect this show a lot for not always casting conventionally pretty women. Like the doctor Leonard dated.
That was Sarah Ruhl. She once had her own sitcom and at another time played a sexy **** on Two and a Half Men. She can do beautiful and plain depending upon the part. She's great in everything. Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) is like that too. On talk shows when she gets all dressed up and made up she is really beautiful.
I agree that the women on the show look like real women instead of models and are very believable. I think the men are kind of cute in an unconventional kind of way as well. All the hunks on other shows get a little boring to look at after awhile.
here this a lot on forum , people saying it is not as good as it is made out to be , would you agree , or do you think it deserves all the praise it gets from people?
It's probably the best sitcom on TV. That said, most sitcoms on TV are painfully horrible. Being the best sitcom on American television is like having the best haggis at the feast.
I really don't keep up on what the popular opinion is but I do like the show. I think they have a great ensemble cast and the writing does not seem to have declined as it does frequently on other hit shows. It never fails to give me at least one good laugh when I watch it even though I admit the plot is a bit limited. I think it is a welcome diversion from many of the shows on TV now.
I guess, compared to most sitcoms its writing is bright and funny. I enjoy shows that make me listen carefully to catch everything, and this is true of BBT. I like Amy and Howard the most. Those two actors really do a great job. I find Sheldon annoying and the other actors are just so so.
Watch the show. If you enjoy it great. If not that's okay too. Nobody is going to tie you to the sofa and force you to watch. I personally enjoy it. It isn't like all of the other cookie cutter sitcoms on TV.
