I think that's what's funny about the BK commercials. Ronald is creepy, but not on purpose. I think the King is a subversive way of making fun of Ronald- they know he's creepy.
I've always imagined that if you hit the BK king in the head,it would break open and a bunch of burger grease would ooze out in copious amounts and would smell like a grocery store dumpster on a hot day
can't imagine how this character sells their burgers. only thing weirder was their sponge bob no pants commercial a couple years back with the pervert getting out of the bathtub. as for our canadian friend above, you should lobby to get harvey's in more of the western provinces - they make bk and macdonalds look and taste like s***
yes, I find him very creepy, along with the NFL robot on CBS!!! I hate that thing!

The unblinking, benignly grinning glossiness of the head attached to a human body?
It's not like fast food mascots regularly bother me. Ronald McDonald, the Big Boy, Colonel Sanders, Wendy; I'm OK with them all. They seem friendly enough, I even have fond memories of a Mayor McCheese drinking glass I got once. But the king... he's one of the Four Horsemen in my book.
Yes, he is creepy. However, he is also HILARIOUS! Especially the one where the guy wakes up next to the BK.
