To hear as many no's on this vote as I have heard is so pathetic to witness. Despite that the bill will inevitably move forward for the final vote right after this this vote count tells me that in these elections that are coming up in November we can not allow this Republican stance to go unrewarded. If any of our states have a republican, Independent, or Centrist Democrat that has voted against this bill, we should ALL take note of it after researching their stance and make sure that our vote counts to express our displeasure against these nay voters. If this vote count (60-40) doesn't expose them than nothing will. Let's check WHO it was that voted nay and make sure that we ALL get to the polls in November if our corresponding incumbent senators are up for election. Let's let our votes SPEAK! Don't allow the vote on this bill to not expose that senator for who they truly are.
Of course the Republicans didn't agree to waive the 30 hours. So I assume we have to wait until Thursday for the final vote now. Then, from what I understand the bill will have to go back to the House for them to agree to how the bill was amended. Assuming it passes there, then we wait for Obama to pass it. Then to wait to see how each state handles the how we get back benefits.
I know in Kentucky, were we only get paid by check, after you certify it takes 2-3 days to actually get the check. So hopefully by late next week I'll get my check(s)
