If you can access the higher level of consciousness necessary for "psychic powers" to manifest, you should have "grown up" a bit spiritually and no longer be chasing dollar bills or notoriety.

A real psychic would honestly want to help others and want to use their gifts to make the world a better place. They would NOT be setting up shop and charging people by the hour.

That's a subtle hint on how to tell a real one from a fake.

I set up a meeting with a psychic a couple years ago , I called from my brothers house and also gave her his name (im thinking she googles everyone)

I showed up ,, she shook my hand and squeezed it for one minute

she said my god,,,you have been touched and visited many times..

she told me things she had no way of knowing.. and then went on to say three spirits were there- and she mentioned some things that validated it was really them,,
one spirit mentioned a b-day gift he gave me when I was younger- on a specific birthday,, he nailed it, he also said I had it on a lawn sale table two yrs ago, but took it off, because its one of the few things I have of his

how the heck would anyone know that ?????? she even stated the price tag and right amount

They never give you any useful information though....

There is a scientific explanation for "psychics" and it's called the Theory of Relativity. Simply put, time is not a straight line but a big loop and some people can "see" the other side, usually random and unhelpful stuff though unfortunately.

The theory of relativity also offers an explanation for ghosts and religion.

I would suggest looking into remote viewing. You don't really need a psychic if you know how RV works (or so I hear).

Go within and tap into your very own psyche.

Find the magic in your mind.

Some people really are psychic, but you still have to watch out. Many of them deal with "familiar spirits". These are actually evil spirits who follow us and know a lot about us so that they can deceive us.

I have a psychic that set up shop on a busy local road about four miles from my local casino. I never saw a vehicle at their location - other than their own. I was surprised that they did not get the gamblers coming off the interstate. However; I would not want to be in the shoes of a psychic that told a loosing gambler that it was their lucky day!

Many psychics want to make a living off of their 'craft'. If they were so good; you would think that they could see their own future. In many cases the psychic's future is just as unknown as their clients. I do not have any intentions of wasting my money!

An all too common misconception about the abilities of psychics. People seem to think that if someone can be psychic that they know anything and everything. 'Psychics should be rich and able to choose winning lottery numbers'. This is so not the case. It is often that a psychic cannot view thier own lives and any impression they get is a random 'drop'. Let's take winning the lottery for example. I know a psychic who has won, but she did not ask to be told the numbers. Any number she had gathered in the past never amounted to much. One morning she woke up and a stream of numbers streamed through her minds eye. She played those numbers. She did not win the jackpot, but got a nice significant sum.
Psychics only know what they are 'allowed' to know.
Psychics are never know it alls.
