i made this thread during a rant, you people have turned it into a walk in the park with an icecream..goodlord
yes i do respect wolves and all other creatures and i think it's not fair that wolves have been vilified as they have been, but come now, there needed to be some evil in this thread
course these days i guess theres enough true proper evil occurring, not even to need monsters, humans are tending to it nicely themselves
Wolves are fascinating creatures. An awesome predator and the only real terrestrial apex predator of the North American continent. They deserve respect in that regard and there is beauty in what they are.
Realistically, however, they can't coexist with human agriculture. The American ecosystem was ruined long ago and the incredible wilderness that it once was is not going to come back. Wolves should be preserved, but there's no way to reasonably expect that they will be restored to their former range. Where their range intersects with agriculture, conflict is unavoidable. If your livelihood is attached to your sheep or your cows or to elk hunting, you SHOULD shoot wolves on sight because their presence is not in your interest.

Then you need to be clear about what you're asking for ... When you post vague comments you'll get responses that are all over the place. If you had posted "please comment on the real evil of humans vs the fictional evil of werewolves" you would probably have gotten very different responses.
If in fact that was your intent ... I still don't know what you were asking for, or why you seem to be upset with the responses in this thread. Or for that matter, whether this thread even belongs here.
There was a rash of killings in France, I believe it was 15tb or 16th century, blamed on "werewolves". Eyewitness accounts of a pair of huge animals fed this. Many have speculated these were a surviving subspecies of a Pleistocene predator. A particularly nasty one. I always liked to think of those types of possibilities.

The supposed werewolf murders in France coincided with the witchcraft hysteria.
Werewolves are in the bible.. So I guess if you believe in the bible then you must believe in werewolves...
If you're referring to Daniel 4:33, reread it - it has nothing to do with werewolves, and there's no textual evidence in it that anything other than natural hair and nail growth was involved. Plus, werewolves don't eat grass in the myths, AFAIK.
