I was at some older motel, and I had taken a walk, and was on my way back to my room, suddenly the sky started getting cloudy, the clouds quickly turned gray and black, (like very dark storm clouds), then they started to swirl like a tornado, and also got darker as they swirled, I then heard loud high pitched screams coming from the black clouds, and saw 'things' coming out of the clouds...I cannot put into words how REAL this all seemed!!
The last thing I remember, I was inside my motel room trying to shut the door, but I was not able to, a cloudy hand had grabbed the door and was trying to open it...My heart was beating a mile a minute as I woke up.
I have hellish and scary dreams like this EVERY night, its never the same, but always extremely frightening. I find it strange, that our bodies are 'paralyzed' when we sleep, to protect us from injuring ourselves, but there doesnt appear to be any mechanism to make the heart realize its just a dream.
Motel is temporary.
Self-transitions.
Being niggled by unresolved conflicts emotionally / physically.
I never used drugs and I dream profusely, every time I doze off. I blame it on a vivid imagination. Only a few would I describe as nightmares.
Once my basement was infested with millipedes and a few managed to get upstairs. I spent the day spraying the basement and looking for some in my room. That night I dreamed there was one 6 feet long climbing into my bed. That woke me up in a hurry.
One recurring dream I have is I'm walking across a field during the winter when it's about 20 degrees and light flurries coming down. It's real windy and I don't have a hat or jacket and there is nothing for miles but that field.
One time I woke up after one of those dreams, and even though it was about 78 degrees in my house, my ears and hands were damn near frozen. I had to take a hot shower to stop shivering.
