Any Doctor Who fans here? I just found out about this show and I have been completely obsessed! I've watched 3 full seasons in just a couple days I haven't watched any of the old ones, but I am really loving this show.

Just wondering though.. is this show really popular over there or is it kind of like Star Trek of USA where it is really popular but for the uber geeks?

Another American fan here. Lots of my college friends adore the show, as do I. Not sure about the British although judging by the social media I follow, it seems popular among younger people.

Dr Who has been popular for years here, through half a dozen different actors playing the part. All very good at it. Well written scripts of a kind of sci-fi but with a difference.

It's pretty popular as a general family show rather than just among nerds, mostly due to it having top billing during family tv time.
