No, I never said that, or implied that. I've never encountered any anti-English sentiment on my trips to Scotland, but clearly plenty of people have. I'm not saying the same isn't true for Scots in England, but I do get the impression that anti-English sentiment is more common than anti-Scottish/Welsh/Irish sentiment directed from the English.

Either way, I'm probably not taking this as seriously as you are.

That is because you are not English

My mother is English but has been in Scotland long enough that not many people realise it (since 1953). She hears comments all the time although very little of it is outright nastiness. But it has definitely got worse since the Nats seek to blame Westminster, London and the south east for everything bad in Scotland.
