Well it's not much of a poll if you don't include them all, there are plenty of Scottish and Welsh here too. A bit discriminatory don't ya think?

Suggest you go away, study British Politics 101 and then come back when you are better informed.

You vote for your local MP, which means little if there is a big majority for one party. The party with a majority of MPs forms the government. Westminster has long been a rubber stamp legislature for the party machines and the EU, and favoured candidates get parachuted into safe seats. Ironically, you probably get more freethinking in the unelected House of Lords. People have become more cynical about politics as the House of Commons has been emasculated, and as the parties have few real differences between them.

almost sounds like the U.S. government, only with more free thinking

not an equal poll, so therefore not valid.

No SNP/Cymru/BNP/greens/other.

not valid = waste of time.

That's what I was saying, though I don't see me or my parents voting this year.

Well,the SNP get 55% of...8%,thus 4.4 % on a national level...
Governments are formed by the 3 major parties...
So,to keep the poll mainstream, those 3 party choices were the right ones...

I know about UK politics...Nothing changes...

Lib Dems are wishy washy. Cameron gives me the creeps, he's like a used car salesman. Gordo is hardly great, but the lesser of 3 evils.
