I am not so worried yet. Last year was a slow start as well. Then it kept on snowing - and was one of the best ski seasons!

You know, we're going into a depression. Areas like Park City will be hit hard. I'm in Moab and it's very slow. save your money for food, you'll need it. If you don't believe me, check out The Housing Bubble Blog - lots of good economic data there, check out the comments (no vested interest).

I keep telling myself this! But it's so hard to be patient! Next weekend The Canyons (is supposed to) open and if it does I'll go no matter what's open - I have a season pass there. Not worth buying a ticket, that's for sure.

Default snow will come

I am coming flying into town tomorrow and last time I did last year Dec 2007, it was a blizzard and it hardly stopped snowing after that. Then I flew back home to Oklahoma on Dec. 8th only to have the worst ice storm that has hit Oklahoma ever on Dec 9, 2007. So I will bring snow for sure!!!

snowed in utah county this morning. nothing heavy, but it was nice to see.

EDIT: it was, however, nice and chilly at the bus stop so early in the morning though, and my old bones aren't taking that as well as they used to.
