First of all, is this the best forum to ask questions about Ventura? If so, I need to to know the BEST doughnut shop in Ventura. I can't find any reviews, just listings, for doughnut shops there! Any advice is appreciated

I like Spudnuts myself although I have not been there for years. They have one at the Vons shopping center on the corner of Victoria and Telephone. Their is a place called "Best Donuts" at 7770 Telegraph Rd in Ventura but I have never been there. Maybe they do have the best, but I couldn't tell you. I prefer Mexican Pan Dulce to anything else these days. The area in Ventura is more into an active lifestyle. Donuts may not be a top priority. The phone book list 11 donut shops in the city of Ventura. That is one for ever 9,200 residents.

Same here, I haven't been to any doughnut shops in years. But what about Masters Donuts on the Avenue? I used to drop in there once in a while, grab a coffee, chocolate bar and watch the afternoon sun head off to Japan. But again, that was many years ago.

Definitely true. Honestly, asking about doughnut shops in Ventura -- with the beach, mountains, biking and year-round perfect weather at one's fingertips -- kind of makes me wonder about the OP's order of importance of things in life. Wanna' come to Ventura and sit in a doughnut shop?

LMAO. Very true. I havent been to a doughnut shop in years (probably 3 or 4 years) because I care about what I put in my body.

But OP, since you asked, try this:

I used to do donuts on my dirt bike. Now I am more into mountain biking and it doesn't have the same affect as the dirt bike did.
