For me, the best game is CS 1.6. This is my nostalgia. But I play in the CS: GO now. She bothered me a little. So I decided to try something new for myself. Now I am actively learning to play DotA 2. I have found good tips for beginners https://www.gamegrin.com/articles/ba...for-beginners/ What else can you advise me?
From the late '90s (1997-99), I really enjoyed the PlayStation offerings of the time. Crash Bandicoot 2, Warped, Racing. Lego Island was cool for the PC and the Cluefinders (4th and 5th grade) adventures were good for the kids around the turn of the millennium. Math Rock (Schoolhouse Rock) may have come out in 1998. I am keen to expand this post to include more records. For favorites, I could go as far back as 1978 and as late as 2005.

I started playing video games on the old Atari 2600. Hence, I am very impressed with modern games. In the 80s, I enjoyed Asteroids, Defender, Berzerk, Pac Man, Yar's Revenge, etc. In the 90s, I experienced Nintendo and took to playing Mario and Mortal Combat.
In the 00s, I switched to XBox and played Halo, Gears of War, and Bioshock series. To me, the XBox and 360 were fantastic.
Currently, I am a big fan of open-world games on XBox One like Far Cry 3, 4, Primal, 5, and New Dawn. I like the story plots and music with highly-evolved video graphics (compared to Atari 2600). I also enjoy the Assassin's Creed Series. I still like Halo but only if it's done on multi-player - then it is like an open world game. In summary, I prefer open-world mode. I get deep into the moment and lose track of time. Open World definitely does it for me as a favorite genre.
I actually listen to the soundtrack when I code at work as a software engineer - lol.
An evolving side note to the soundtracks on YouTube would be the growing list of hilarious comments under the videos for songs like "Only You" by the Platters or the soundtrack for scenes of "Faith Seed". Some of the things fans say are hilarious.
"Carnivores 2" and "Iceage","Delta force land warrior" and all its parts.
These games have no patterns one must fallow, and you must think and learn the terrain.
I would get so deeply into the games that the temperature of the game environment had a relevant psychological effect on my own environment.
Windows 7 or earlier.
For me is total war series, conquer the whole world with huge armies and huge battles is my favorite, then the best in this series is total Warhammer 2 Mortal Empires because just like what everyone said the diversity of factions/races. Name me a game where you can have dinosaurs fight dragons or dinosaurs eating zombies. Orcs fighting evil Vikings.
