Need info on 55+ Mobile Home Communities in Sequim!
My brother is still looking to relocate to Sequim and he is now considering buying a manufactured home in a community. He specifically wants to live in a 55+ community that allows pets (cats) and offers low space rent.
Any suggestions anyone? Also, can anyone give me info on the Baywood Village Mobile Home Community?
Thanks!

I've spent a lot of time in Sequim, and couldn't have listed them as well as princessvanessa did!
I will just add two things about location, if it helps. Parkwood is actually in a small off-road in the village of Carlsborg. The city of Sequim's growth has caused Carlsborg to become an outlying area of big box retailers and light industry. It's lost some of its charm, but do check out Sunny Farms, right across from Parkwood. It's a great little country marketplace, and really makes the area so much nicer. (Parkwood is actually a little outside of the Wal-Mart zone anyway.)
Lazy Acres is even further east of Carlsborg, probably by about a mile. It's definitely country living by any standard.
The other three are on the edge of town, on the other side of Big Box Country from Parkwood. I can't say it's my favorite part of town, but it is certainly a growth area. It's probably quite different than from a year ago. I haven't actually been in the parks themselves, though, and I'm familiar with their exact environments.
Hope that helps!

You might want to consider Monterra - it is technically closer to Pt Angeles and is out in the country. It has a lovely location, almost on the water (high bank).

Look up Wilsonville OR, Thunderbird Mobil Park, yes they had prefabs also, the owner decided to sell and it could be a trend in the future, it was a 55 and up park also, a real mess poor people all uprooted and many of them elderly, I would be cautious investing in one without understanding the zoning aspect.

Thanks Jacq and Little Peg!
Thanks for all the info. My brother did finally purchase a home in an existing park in Sequim.
I was a little surprised to learn that a MH park closed, however. I sure hope this will not become a trend. All though many people in Sequim are able to afford the housing, many people must live on a budget and need affordable housing.
Thanks everyone for responding to my post! Merry Christmas!
