Are there any shuttles to Ocean Shores from either SeaTAc Airport or the Portland Airport. Thanks

...and probably not enough demand. Not a whole big population base there in Ocean Shores.

Oh wait... I take that back. I DO see where there is a shuttle-express-type of service (reservation only type thing) when I looked around on the net. I don't know if they're still in business or not but you could give them a call.

For about $5 you can get to/from Ocean Shores to/from SEATAC on the bus. It involves a couple of transfers, one in Olympia and one in Aberdeen, and you have to make sure the schedule corresponds with your flight times, but if you have no other choice it works.

I have also seen adds in the Daily World classified where people will drive you to SEATAC for about $50 or $75.

On Another note, my husband and I have just purchased a home in Ocean Shores and we love it!! We have been here since January having moved from Cambria, CA...another seaside village. It fulfills a lot of our retirement dream requirements, low home prices, a water view, golf course and a movie theater. For my monthly "mall fix" a day trip to Portland, Seattle or Olympia (to a lesser degree) does the trick. We love the changeable weather and slow pace. Great place!

Hi Mema,

Considering Ocean Shores for retirement. Can you tell me about the humidity factor along the coast? I know the temperatures are moderate, but was wondering how the humidity is because I am supersensitive to it.

Thanks!
