OP went dark, so we have no further guidance as to their objectives or cost constraints.

When I move a MH, it is usually quite new (<5yr) and often a 'repo', or more often... one that someone paid a down payment on and never have the funds to get it set up. or even more often... their property deal fell through (usually from a family member who has a change of heart). i.e. I move NEW, at a used price.

And yes... CONVENTIONAL (FHA) financing will choke on a moved home. But... I have never used FHA and will not sell to someone who adds that constraint to their P&S agreement. I only do FAST transactions. There are a lot of seniors who will be HAPPY to 'private lend' at 5% for a qualified buyer (30%+ down), but usually a family member is best option. Hopefully, OP is not needing financing on their low capital project. Even cars are going for $50k these days. (not my cars ) $50k would buy me 1500 cars, and my current one has lasted 47 yrs... so... that would be enough to supply cars for the next 70,000 yrs. That outta cover it.

OP just needs to get out and beat the bushes (in an inexpensive area with low permitting requirements and FAR from ground water and lakes and streams. )

Some areas will allow living in an RV, but VERY few... Thus I build a shop with apartment / laundry / bath + RV hookups. Make the shop big enough to park the RV inside (it will last a long time under cover). RV's can be found for under $5000. Shop can be build for ~$30k.

The negative reaction to buying land with a decrepit mobile home on it might be fear of meth cooking or use having occurred in it. That would my reason for crossing such property off my list. It depends on how bad it looks, and on what the laws are regarding notification of contamination.

As a purchaser, you perform a level 1 environmental survey if buying any property with Questionable history or neighbors. (Dry cleaner, auto radiator shop, meth lab...)

Last one cost me $600 and I brought my own excavator. Probably $1000 today. (Out of buyer's pocket). I took at least 10 soil samples and profiles. Took me a couple hours and inspector a couple days of research.

Meth sites are able to clean, but easiest to demolish the home (~4 hrs work on excavator or dozer)
