Red Robin is a restaurant chain that actually makes good hamburgers, but it's one of those " festive" places which are often noisy, and have the whole gang of waitstaff come up to tables singing " happy happy happy happy happy birthday."
It's not a place for a quiet, romantic meal.

cabocurtis is on a distinguished road
I have had great casual meals at Fondi Pizza right across from the new Blazing Onion burger place and Anthony on the waterfront has great seafood and early dining complete dinner specials. Tides tavern is regionally famous for its fish and chips. Across the bridge on the Ruston Waterfront(10 minutes from Gig Harbor) the Harbor Lights is an institution and there is the RAM which is a brewery restaurant. All have water views. Brix25 in Gig harbor is well rated.
