It's been overcast since Christmas Day in Buxton, also apparent through the tiny Diurnal range of the last few days so far, just 1.0°C between the average max and average min in my temperature records!
Yikes, that's a small diurnal range even with constant cloud. This morning we had cumulus congestus clouds covering about four oktas of the sky so I thought we might get sunshine at some stage. But of course they were strategically placed to block out the sun at all times. Been raining heavily for the last hour but has now stopped.
