There's half an hour difference! What effect does it have on you really.
We have lighter mornings here, but I haven't heard you whining about that? Aren't you missing those miserable dark mornings then?

Because college students rarely wake up early; he's sleeping through it either way. I'd be annoyed about a half hour daylight loss, too.

If he bothered to make friends and have fun he wouldn't be on here moaning about the sunset times. Nobody I know in real life is that bothered about it. It's pathetic behaviour and shows real weakness. Sick and tired of people moaning about pointless, petty crap that doesn't matter. Pisses me off.

Owen will come to appreciate the early sunrises when it's actually bright at 8:30am rather than pitch black - I know I certainly do.

Lazy bast*rds! I'm up at 5 and raring to go at the gym! I couldn't have done it at Owen's age though admittedly.

I don't see how 35 minutes difference in daylight is enough to cause you to moan constantly though. It's a strange thing to whine about really. Attention seeking.

It's more than half an hour. It's like 45 minutes.

I swear it gets dark in England super early! Like 6:45.. which is kind of terrible because most days I don't get back to my room until 5 so I haven't got much time to do my own thing outside.

This. There's not much outside time in the evening, it's annoying to have it cut short. Though lol @ 6:45 being so early. Were already at 6:31

It starts getting dark at around 3:40pm in December here but life doesn't stop outside because of it - people go to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. By 4-5pm it's already pretty dark but city centre streets are still full of people going about their business. Like I said, try getting a life.

Before I left it was bright to 8 so this is a big cut down.

I woke up at 9 most mornings if I didn't have an early class. So still wouldn't mind late sunrises. Though, I think would have preferred getting up in the dark and getting more afternoon daylight if it's that scarce. I remember hating getting off daylight savings time, though without it out sunrises would be 8:20 at the very latest
