It starts getting dark at around 3:40pm in December here but life doesn't stop outside because of it - people go to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. By 4-5pm it's already pretty dark but city centre streets are still full of people going about their business. Like I said, try getting a life.
Fine. Some of us like daylight a lot. My campus was less urban; I'd sometimes go for walks or a short bike ride after classes.
Am I the only one here who isn't bothered about sunrise/sunset times? I see people b*tching and moaning about how early their sunsets are or will be and I'm sitting here thinking.. get over it, cry baby. It's not that important is it?
I see people bothered by things that don't bother me and I just don't care. If you can't write what bothers you on a message board then it is pretty useless.
Daylight is nice, but the crying and whining that people do just because the sun sets a little earlier is silly..
Well, i'm looking forward to earlier times (and slightly milder temps) in uni!
Seeing first light / nautical twilight at like 4:30 is nice in the tropics!
