I pick choice 7... winters are kind of like here but cooler summers. That would be my absolute limit for cold winters... Choice 8 while having nicer winters, has summers that are even too cool for me and I doubt you'd really get any kind of tall trees there just shrubs which would be sad.

Rather cold average temps to work with. I think it would tend to favour the continental options. Using 8-16C would tend to favour the maritime climate(imo).

I made up the temperatures with all of the winter lovers on here in mind. Obviously for myself non of the climates are really desirable due to the average temperature.

Choice 8 is very much on the extreme maritime end of the spectrum. I didn't really think anyone would pick it but you never know.

I chose 4

I almost chose 5 but summer is alittle too cool for my taste.

Climate 4 is similar to what I'm used to.

I notice these climates all seem tohave quite a seasonl lag, a bit too coolish springs.

Choice 2. I like things a little interesting. 1 would be interesting to experience as well. 6 through 8 seem yucky.

Choice 2 for me. I'd prefer the cold snowy winters and get a nice hot summer in return rather than having milder (but still cold boring rainy) winters but no summer what so ever.

Assuming they all have equal sunshine as well, I think I'd go with Choice 4. Would like warmer summers, but the balance between warm summers and not overly cold winters is the best of the choices available for me.

Choice 3 is my next favourite, followed by Choice 5. Choice 8 is the worst imo.

Torn between 5 and 6, but I'll have to go with 5 for the slightly colder winters. Would prefer the summers of 6, but 5's summers are still decent.
