For most of Europe this year spring was colder than usual, but things changed in July with the hottest July in UK since 2006 and many other countries having nice summer too.
so Would you take another 2013 Spring for a 2013 summer?

Coldest spring for over 100 years in exchange for the 10th warmest July? No chance.

I would take 1989 though; a shockingly bad April (avg high 11.5C, 145 hrs sun), but the following:

Jan: 9.5C, 59 hrs sun
Feb: 10.2C, 94 hrs sun
Mar: 12.9C, 100 hrs sun
Apr: 11.5C, 145 hrs sun
May: 21.0C, 310 hrs sun
Jun: 22.2C, 259 hrs sun
Jul: 25.8C, 275 hrs sun
Aug: 24.2C, 267 hrs sun
Sep: 20.7C, 131 hrs sun
Oct: 17.1C, 113 hrs sun
Nov: 10.9C, 107 hrs sun
Dec: 9.4C, 34 hrs sun

Are there any other options? Like summer 2011? July this year was only 0.4C warmer than the 81-10 averages.

I don't think I would. No. I wouldn't.

Monthly high this year:

Mar: -0.1C
Apr: 7.1C
May: 18.7C
Jun: 22.4C
Jul: 22.7C
Aug so far 23.5C

Highs in 2011:

Mar: 2.4C
Apr: 9.9C
May: 15.3C
Jun: 22.7C
Jul: 25.4C
Aug: 21.6C

So, no.

Probably not. Spring 2013 sucked overall.

And as far as Summer 2013 (so far) goes, Late May was nice, June was wet (but warm), July was excellent, and August is pretty ehh so far....

I'd take another Spring 2013 for another Summer 2010 and Winter 2011-2012 though.

Sure, our spring was the best in 20 years, and so far the summer is right up there too.
