Very impressive dew point. A lot of (most?) people are not aware of how humid it can get in the deserts of the southwest.
True. While not a true monsoon, they call it that anyway; warm moist southerly flow from either the Pacific, or Gulf of California, or Gulf of Mexico, or a remnant of a tropical system.
It helps that we rarely get the humidity and the heat combined, from what I've seen in the decade I've lived here.
