We're talking about the whole of NI not your area..or is your area a special place with your own esoteric climate?

Where I live doesn't have the same weather as say, Perth, but 17 miles is close enough.

To an outsider, the differences seem rather small, this argument seems rather silly.

It's kind of horror movie-ish the way these freeze watches keep drawing closer, this time it's eastern Long Island, northeastern New Jersey, coastal Connecticut, and even a NYC borough (Staten Island) that is under the gun.

If all of these areas freeze on Monday morning, 20 out of 25 NYC area counties will have seen their first freeze. The remaining 5 counties without a freeze would be NYC's other 4 boroughs + neighboring Nassau County.

The strong winds tonight should hinder radiational cooling on Long Island/NYC. Suffolk should still get a freeze, though as Infamous92 said.
