I'm a bit worried about a freeze, because the forecast low temperature here is 32 on Saturday! I wish it was 60! The garden will be GONE!

First night at 32/0C was 10/14, first night below freezing 10/20 (late), then a night at 32, then four more below freezing (including this morning). Lowest 27F/-3C. Average low is 36/2 right now.

Fresh and Funky for tonight.

22 States with a Freeze Warning in them.
16 States with a Frost advisory including the Florida panhandle

A lot of areas in the north have ended the growing season so they don't issue the alerts.

26°F forecast night! A few nights ago was the first freeze. Interesting to see they're still issuing freeze alerts halfway up the coast of Maine.

Times like these are why I'm glad I live in a furnace.

LOL I didn't even realize that until I saw this post. No Watches or Warnings for NYC. or Long Island for that matter.

I think I might hit 33 tonight. I'm usually in the middle of Danbury and Bridgeport. Danbury hit 28 this morning. Bridgeport only 38.

Interesting tid bit:

Danbury High of 51 today. Last time it didn't pass 51 during the day was May 25th
Danbury Low of 29 was first time since April 4th (204 days too long!)

Bridgeport High of 53 today. Last time it didn't pass 53 during the day was 2 days ago, before that was May 25th
Bridgeport Low of 38 was first time since April 21

Even DC has a Freeze Warning and Regan National has a pretty bad heat island.

It would be crazy if somewhere in Florida recorded a freeze before Niagara
