I hope the polar vortex thing continues into summer
Then the humidity will be controlled and it will be soooo much more comfortable to do outdoor activities than the 94 degrees with dewpoints close to 80
MUCH rather have a summer of high 83 low 60, dewpoint 58

Well... everyday I walk outside I still see snow remains here, will today be the final nail? Rain and 40s.
That's what I'm thinking. I'm surprised how much snow is up in the hills, might last for a while in shaded spots. I remember seeing some snow in wooded areas in early April last year, I should dig through photos. It's a cold rain right now, mid to high 30s earlier. Perhaps the hills are getting freezing rain?

Just drizzle here after a batch dried up before getting to me. Most likely no ice up there. Surface to 850s are above freezing but there can be "pockets" of below freezing temps which would be freezing rain there.
Albany 8am sounding shows you have to go above 7000 feet for ice/snow. Keep an eye on Mt Washington. Curious about that Autoroad!
