Winds shifted from south to from the northwest here at 5:50pm. That's when the front came through.

I got my wood stove on.

Windsor Locks,CT 5:51pm was 61℉ dropped to 38℉ at 9:29pm.

NYC 4:51pm was 63℉ dropped to 40℉ at 9:11pm

Curious where the snow falls and how much.

Ice poring here. Reached frost point of 39 F. From now on, its raw frozen precipitation in the form of sleet till 3 AM. Imagine that, 5 hours of icy rain. On a sad note, my banana plant has been damaged . Turning the heat on now.

62 out with 100% humidity at 5 pm. Now 38 out with 100% humidity at 8 pm. What a fast drop!

Lows forecast in the 20s for the next three nights. Gah. Why didn't I read Cambium's post? Wrote about the same thing.

I live 100 miles away in Lexington. Do you have a GFS for here?

No one cares about Blowing Green those syphillitic ****s who magically get twice the amount of thunderstorm activity we do.

Today would have been a day that G8RCAT, Meteoman, and Hell's Kitchen would have all enjoyed.

Started off as a humid 73-74 F in the morning.
Quickly warmed up to a humid 88 F (with a 71 F dew point) by noon.
Topped off at about 90-91 F by 2:30-3 PM and humid with relentless sun.
Got really dark by 3:45 PM, huge thunderstorm with lots of lightning and wind blew through between 4-5:30 PM.
Cleared off by 6 PM, and was like a sauna afterwards with 86 F and a 74 F dew point.
Now at nearly 11 PM, it's a muggy 78 F with a 73 F dew point. Feels more like June 15th out there.

Snowing in NYC. Very cool to see the changeover work its way in from west to east.

Radar looks impressive too.

Now sleeting here expecting snow any minute now

Radar and Metars on left. Temps aloft (shaded) and surface temps (numbered) on right.

I forgot to factor in the winds. So it's going to feel like mid 20s and snowing. lol.

Feels like 28 in NYC with light snow right now.
