My history teacher said the English came here and chopped down all the trees in the plantation.. I did think he was talking nonsense.. There is no evidence of native trees.

I don't see any trees like Ash etc except in people's gardens. This would be the trees we have.

Actually, your history teacher is correct the native trees were chopped down, there is evidence of native trees you just need to look harder. Ireland isn't all green hills there are pockets of dense native forests in reserves.

Its the same as in England really except we have more land area and more native forests.

Those trees are native to Western North America they don't belong in Northern Ireland.

Not near me. The forests are all artifical.. I think there is fish imported and some deer aswell.
It is interesting to learn about the local biome..

This piece of **** climate is so unstable. It rains every damn day in September, but so far we have gone 12 days without rain. The cold front was supposed to bring rain, but every single thunderstorm missed us. There is at least a week without rain in the forecast, too. I know it's not like California, but this is a bit ridiculous.
