I took this at 6:40 this morning. It was 18°C that early and ended up getting to 28°C later. Now it's been heavily raining with thunder for an hour though.
I think that's hotter than almost any morning we got this year. Except maybe one, but it was cloudy, rainy day when it never got that hot.
The garden has been doing well these past weeks. I picked a few zucchini, squash, peppers, and tomatoes.
I got about 2 inches of rain last week, but this past week was mostly dry. High temperatures have been in the 80's to just past 90 F.
NICE. Mmmmm I can't wait but insanely enough it might be August before we get a ripe tomato now.
Probably mid July if we're lucky. Up until this week if you dig down 6 inches the soil was STILL cold. Roots hate that! No wonder nothing was growing fast.
Finally now with the lows steady in mid 50s or higher and the highs steady in the 70s at least things are moving along.
I see you did what I did for first time this year. Rebar! I like the idea cause you can drive them in further and they are strong. As opposed to bamboo where the wind can topple or snap with the weight.
Are those homes still lived in? Are they historic museum houses?
Thoses houses are replicas of real farmhouses of the 17th and 18th centuries and yes it is an open air museum showing the everyday life of how people lived there back then.
They're are both parts of the Folkloristic Open Air museum Bremerhaven.
It is also possible to book those houses for festivities and marriage.

I tied a string across the rebars though.
Yeah, my dad got some rebar a while back and we've been using that for years. It works pretty well and the wind doesn't knock it over.
