I have become more and more liberal/libertarian in recent times although I wouldn't describe myself as right-leaning

I would bet almost anything you are not to the "right" of me in the conventional sense. This is why that test is so limited. It first recognizes that there are more dimensions to consider than simply left and right, but it's still limited to two dimensions. You scored right-of-center on economic policies. That makes you an economic liberal; i.e., you tend to support so-called "free markets." The meaning of the word liberal is akin to free, but the use of this word is distorted in this country.
