Now there's a graphic I like.. black with cool blue text. :-)
Wind chills in the 30s this morning in many areas west of you. Its coming!
Looking west of me is the only thing I have to stay interested because temps here are unimpressive. 80s & humid today then latest says no 70s Saturday through Tuesday. October like but nothing impressive. Will feel good though.
Check this out... Map for this afternoon. Green is precip. Dark Blue dashed line(540) to keep it simple is the rain/snow line. I rarely see this in September in the U.S! Snow to north of it, rain to south of that line. This is this afternoons projection.
Now look...... Latest GFS on top, Euro on Bottom. GFS6z says northern Maine will get snow September 18th! But Look where Euro has the rain/snow line. Way up into Canada. Also good to note that the previous GFS run (00z) did not show snow for northern Maine. But naturally we'll get these flip flops this far out (7 days)
Low was 4c last night which is no biggie but it is nice to see. !
