Flood watches are in effect for the Florida Panhandle and adjacent parts of southern Alabama and Georgia with tropical moisture coming out of the Gulf. They've actually been pretty dry this past summer.

Surprisingly, rain chances were raised for my area today. TWC calls for 30% today and 60% tonight. The best chance is Thursday with 80% which is supposed to come with a cold front.

So I just wanted to compare TWC's forecast for different stations around Chicago the coming 10 days

and if you were just to type in "Chicago" you would get this forecast

It's almost the same as Northerly Island's so I assume that would be the forecast for the "Loop" or Downtown Chicago...

The latest drought coverage map. I'm surprised to see that the entire state of Arizona is still covered by drought or at least abnormally dry conditions.

Latest GFS October 4th has large cold airmass digging down. -5C over northern Wisconsin/Minnesota at 850mb! Normal is +6C

Question is, will this shift east to get here? Or will it lift up and out.

Information video from DT. First...you need to know something about him... He will call you drunk, stupid, idiot, and all kinds of things if you post something he doesn't like or agree on. LOL!!! Lots of people despise him (including me) but maybe you might not.

Here's the topics he discusses in this video.

Feels like a summer morning out there. Clear skies and 71F here. Dewpoint up to 62F.
