Same **** as the last few weeks on Christmas. 13 C at morning and 4 C at night with sun, high humidity and fog when sun sets. There is a minimal chance of cold on New year's Eve as in 1985, one of the coldest winters here in Europe there was a similar pattern with a really mild December and an extremely cold January. I'm not confident though

I want to point out these are my guesses mixed with a few of the forecast tossed around

According to (f)accuweather:

27C/18C. Considerable cloudiness; windy in the afternoon

Of course, this would definitely change.

Accuweather says 10/27 and 12/27 and both sunny respectively but when it's in the BoM forecast I'll report back, Accuweather is obviously extremely inaccurate.

I lolled. Subfreezing 850's in Libya, and cold air down to Athens... but the UK getting subpolar oceanic maritime clag.

Well, don't worry, it will change many times before Decima MAS.

Latest long range GFS fantasy gives us heat.

22/39C for Christmas Eve and and 24/40C for Christmas day.

Melbourne should be warm , in the low-mid 30's and possibly humid. All fantasy at this stage.
