I apologize, I misread the weather stats. I would rather live on Mars than live in Moscow. After looking at the stats, I've realized that London actually ain't so bad. In fact I'm going to sell my house and catch the first plane to Heathrow!
Not really when it goes from one extreme to the other & not quite the same as daylight changing...
Well I like my heat and my cold. And I have a lot of time to adjust from the 22C highs in August to 5C highs in November. Sure, the first -5C in autumn punches you in the face, but so does the first 8C feel blissful in March. Anyway, I have many months to adjust to the conditions.
Maybe it's because my room temperature is pretty much stable for much of the year (well at least somehow), while you're without double-glazed windows and a horribly 3rd world flat on Malta.
BTW, a friend of mine moved to Malta to work for a betting company, and he froze almost to death in his shack.
It's cooler than here, but I would still consider it hot. It's mainly the huge difference between winter & summer temperatures I dislike...
It is a very quick turn around here as well. Summer heat tends to end abruptly in Sept, and within a few months you can experience high temps below freezing. It has happened here where I am. Chicago would be worse. Fall adjustment is much harder than the Spring adjustment in the other direction.

But like most Mediterranean countries we have no central heating here & homes are designed to stay cool, so inside can feel cold in the winter, but nothing a heater won't fix
Since yankeefan93 is in London right now I must move to Monroe CT! I bet Monroe CT looks nice right now! Hell the snowy landscape looks beautiful despite the fact that most of it melted.
Oh I didn't know you wanted to switch places with me! Good luck!

Yeah, that what gets me. Summers throughout places such as Scandinavia often seem very pleasant, but once the cool down begins, the drop is rapid, and winter is upon them by the end of October, sometimes sooner.
