Averages after the first 9 days of November.

Avg max: 15.1c
Avg min: 10.0c
Precip: 17.6mm
Sun: 4.7 hrs

A bit drier than average, mean temps about 2-3c warmer than average, but it has been so cloudy! A typical November should have seen around 25-30 hrs by now, not 4-5!

These posts are somewhat related. No strong push from NW so keeps Florida baking.

We will be below normal this weekend but guess what... right back to warming up next week which means Arctic air not around.

We don't need arctic air for snow though and don't forget normals are cold in December for some regions.. Normal low is mid 30s now in early November in CT.

After mid December we could see changes. MJO goes into a better phase. That means Florida might be above normal for another month. Unless clouds and precip can help that.

Not complaining.. 50s/30s and 50s/40s is ok still.. Just need to be entertained with snow & cold anywhere. Prefer it here though.

Poor Florida. Wonder where the front will stop

Not sure what our latest sub 10C high on record is.. but at the moment it looks like it may well be late November/early December before we see one!

Forget about frost/freezes until at least December, there is no sign of us even going below 10C at night in the next 10 days

Orlando temps this month. Normal max now under 80 but the lows and max have been well above this month

Only 78 right now. Must be clouds?

Yeah, it's completely overcast, but still 80 F. Clouds associated with the frontal boundary.

Awesome radar/Sat loop. Thanks

-------------

Here comes the rain now. 52°F

Eastern Long Island and New London County CT about to get a very heavy downpour if it holds.

Do not think any thunder is a threat.

Storm is now over Delaware hugging the coast

How about this....

Radar loop 9-11am this morning... VS ....

VS Radar loop from "October" 18th. What a fluke and crazy period that was. I seriously hope the October snow jinx is not happening.

Such an amazing picture!! And yes, that's so rare. Living in SF for 6 years, we never got lightning.
