I am curious which places and cities from all over the world experience thundersnow every year or generally they have the potential and the possibilty to experience it at times. As I know Great Lakes in USA experience every year this phenomenon. Ioannina here have the potential for it. It happened 4 times in last 11 years. What other regions of the world can experience it?

Probably Denver.

I'd also guess high elevation/low latitude areas.

I think late January 2004 had a snow squall moving south across the UK. Think I remember it.

My location had thunder and light snow nearly 3 hours apart on March 5 this year!

I wasn't awake at the time of the thunder, but someone reported seeing thundersleet that morning. It was 34F (1.1C) at the time of the thunder.
