11am Update... Yup.. Once again they inch closer. LOL Always slow and hesitant. Nobody and models still not 100% unless that Euro does a 180 flip.

Strengthened as well to 80mph.

IF this thing doesn't curve in West.. Heads up NJ/NYC/CT? Routlette Wheel still spinning

Bring a strong umbrella and Gollashes. Nobody knows the details yet but it will be rainy and windy as you tour CT homes this weekend..

Yup... and in case anone else missed it like I did... Just looked at that NHC path map.. The "M" stands for Major hurricane. So apparently they are thinking it goes to Cat 3 before weakening to Cat 1 or 2 again.

The new GFS just coming out is south more. Hits North Carolina.

Here's the most recent GFS12z.

Goes south from previous runs and hits North Carolina with a sub 980mb Hurricane..

Frames are Sat morning to Mon Morning. New England now just gets light rains and a breeze.

Notice after it makes landfall it stops then turns north. That would spell wind and more rains for NC/VA.

A storm stopping or turning takes so much energy.

Rain Storm #1 Done except it's still raining hard in Maine

24hr Rainfall total Estimates per radar only to 12pm today. Albany OBS does show 2.5"+ http://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KALB.html

2" here SWCT and when zoomed in there is a little yellow showing. This is not actual. Just an estimate based on radar returns.

And now for the Canadian model...Yikes!!

New Canadian 12z slams into Wilmington, NC Sat evening with a Sub 965mb Hurricane.

That's 2 for a NC hit. (GFS/GGEM). Georgia and South Carolina in on this now with Heavy rains and wind. New England getting to be in the clear more and more.

IF THE EURO SHOWS A NC HIT... HEADS UP MID ATLANTIC. Still got time for MANY changes

But won't the remnants of the low head afterwards? So it will still be wet?
