People who are afraid to drive on snow and ice should not drive on snow and ice. Unless it's an emergency, they should wait for the roads to be cleared.

People who think they can drive the same way on snow and ice as they would under normal conditions should not drive on snow and ice. Unless it's an emergency, they should wait for the roads to be cleared.

It was just slushy snow.. not compacted/frozen so really no excuse.

IMO there is no such thing as "normal conditions" (ie conditions similar to summer) in the winter months and so your driving needs to be adjusted during the entire season.

Maybe there? I'd say much of the winter has similar conditions to summer; as in dry roads free of ice.
