Americans have thousands of miles of land, they don't need to squeeze millions of people into tiny cities.

Yeah there is, let's not be greedy. The earth should be preserved more than it is built up.

Most midwestern cities had very different economies than New York, San Francisco or Boston. All of those three were always more centralized; had some middle-class near the center and well paying jobs. Detroit went in a downward spiral that fed off itself. See this visualization

One of my friends decided to do a backflip while drunk, a week after he'd scraped his entire face along the ground trying to do one on ice. This time he broke both of his knees. **** man, that's gotta suck so ****ing bad for him. I'm on my way to see him now... Man, ****. Knees are the worst to break. I know of a guy that broke his knees and had to sit in a wheel chair for three years... Anyway I'm on my way to visit him at the hospital now...

Your friend sounds kind of stupid. Hope he recovers though. Maybe he should just do what I used to do and roll around in supermarket trolleys.

It does look sick when he normally lands them, it was just not very smart to so it from a stage while drunk I guess. I guess he'll have to live with that stupid decision forever. I haven't spoken much with him yet but it seems like he'll recover relatively quickly. He'll wear crutches for only 4-6 weeka they say which is pretty astonishing.

My grandmother asked me to pick up a birthday card for my mum, she's 51 tomorrow. The card I picked up says 'to a special granddaughter'.

Really need to pay more attention.
