I liked Jersey Shore, I don't understand why it had so much of a negative rep.
Honestly, never watched much of it. There are better TV shows to watch. But to your point, aside from being an extremely trashy series, I think it doesn't give the actual Jersey Shore the image it really deserves. There are some people who object to it for its portrayal of Italian-Americans. I'm part Italian and I don't really care though. Generally, it is not very easy to offend Italians.
The ridiculous part is how unless you're in the top like 10% of guys, you have to approaching on your own. You could be significantly above average in terms of looks and still get no approaches, I've known very good looking guys who struggled a lot with girls, typical because of shyness/inexperience

In my experience, Italian-Americans will put up with a lot of stereotyping without becoming too upset. Some Italian-American organizations will make a murmur about ethnic stereotyping, but by and large Italian-Americans don't make a big fuss about it.
Got a horrid blister on the back of my heel, which my shoe only aggravates more. Can't go for a run without huge sense of discomfort. And I have no patches at home.
