Speaking of a sugar tax I only support it on one condition, I want to stay with the same VAT for sugar products and remove it completely for vegetables. I'd much rather see something that actually stimulates healthy eating rather than the nanny state method of forcing a tax while not rewarding healthy eating at a baseline level.
The end result is that people will still pay the extra for the sugar products while the vegetables will not be any cheaper, thus consumption of those won't increase. Stupid leftist tax-w*nkery as usual!
