Not many times a year when you see all snow on the radar loop and no rain East of the Rockies. (Maybe only 2 months a year when its possible?)

Snow wave on the move to the Northeast

Had to resize the 24hr loop

What about in New England? There's rain there

What a strange winter we've had so far. Minimal snow in the northeast (even with a significantly colder December than 2014 or 2015), and big snowstorm on the horizon for the Atlantic south.

Fun to live through many senarios. More fun trying to figure out what winter will be like from Fall. Lol

2009 reminds me of the Mid atlantic snows. I think. Bad with dates

Are you below freezing now then? We're expecting another bleh snowfall from this wave... 1 or 2". After that heavy rain, we lost all of our snowpack in Pittsburgh. Ski Resorts of Western PA are looking at maybe, maybe 6" from this storm. They just got a winter weather advisory late last night. The snowpack on the ridges survived, the still have 5 or 6" of natural on the higher ridges.
