By end of week probably will be 2,5 meter of snow. It will be interesting...

Norwich is probably the snowiest low level city in England yet there is nothing here either. It doesn't mean London is a snowier city than Norwich.

Really!!? Funny because they said that about December and it was actually very mild, so then they said that about January and its been pretty much 'average', they said it about December last year and it was mild, then they said that about January last year and it was mild, so then they said that about February and it was pretty average, then they told us there would be a 'beast from the east' at the beginning or March which amounted to 3 cold days where the temperature here hovered around freezing for a high (happens at some point nearly every year) - it was just about then that the Norwegians (and others) really started laughing at us. So ONCE AGAIN they predict 'frozen hell' for the next month, are we to actually believe them? Still if they constantly come out with this claptrap then eventually they might get it right when finally we will get the inevitable cold snap! Give it until May then the global warming 'hottest ever' Summer stories will start!

Maybe it was different in Costa del Sussex but the ‘beast from the esst’ in March was an exceptional event here. To get nearly a week of deep lying, blowing snow and daytime temperatures below freezing is a rare occurrence at any time of year in this country, let alone in March when the sun is many times stronger than it is in December or January.

Just to put it in perspective - I am 32 this year and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve experienced weather like that in the UK.

Yes. Highs of only 1°C here from Sat 2nd February. The best forecasters said it would be a mild December. December 2017 was a cold month here.

Costa del Sussex lol, listen its far from warm here but really the ridiculous over the top scaremongering has to stop or else how are we supposed to know when there really IS cold weather approaching! Believe me our 'friends' from the continent think we are pathetic with our complaining and really who can blame them!!? Beast from the east my a**e ultimately it meant 3 days of weather that would be considered as mild in the East of the continent, I feel ashamed!
