So today it was IKK that didn't reach 90 degrees. Our high was 89F. MDW and ORD hit 91F.

We should be ok for the fireworks tonight, any storm will be scattered and out of here by 8pm.

Meanwhile Boston cant hit 90. 4 weeks late. 15th latest on record.

2014 & 2015 were very late too.

Indeed. Though this is not really freakish heat for us.

A bit above average for sure, but still... depending on the year between one fifth and one third of the summer is like this.

Wow, Anchorage's forecast looks pretty damn terrible if I do say so myself. It's not much better than my own forecast, and that's only because of the higher lows and humidity here. The highs are pretty much the same.

Forecast looks even worse in Fairbanks! So many days approaching 90, you'd never guess it's at 64N.

Even if you go all the way up to Umiat, it's well into the 70s all week. Seems like one would have to go that far north to get some relief.

No kidding. And air conditioning has got to be basically non-existent throughout Alaska.

Seems like anywhere the heights rise, the surface torches. Impressive stuff happening there. Makes me not want to rant about my humid 80s. Lol. #KeepTheRidgeThere

Previous all time max there was 85F June 14, 1969

Wonder what 90 degrees feels like in Anchorage

Last hot day tomorrow. 80s beaches low 90s away from the lake. Weekend looks coolest on the lakeshore. Low to mid 80s inland
