Some parts of Chicagoland away from the lake could make it up to 71 degrees today (22C) then snow possible Sunday night into Monday

With all the warming forecast last week with not even frost temps in the coming weeks forecast now the forecast is calling for a light freeze next week..... You never know.

First +70F reading of the year for my nearest station and also at MDW. Let's see if ORD makes it to 70 degrees

The paths here have been heavily icy for the past 3 weeks due to constant freeze-thaws too:

Hopefully the 16C forecast for tomorrow finally puts an end to that.

Cool! Yeah, Ice & Sleet takes the longest to melt.




You can tell how fast this warm up will be..


7am and in the 60s in Indiana, Ohio and even Erie, PA but its in the 20s & 30s in Iowa, Illinois down to Oklahoma. That means cold air right behind it.


Still 40s here warming up to 60s!
