The sun was out yesterday, it felt positively springlike.

Witch-hazel starting to bloom.

Use an image-hosting service like Imgur or similar instead of uploading them as attachments.

Thanks for the photos btw. It looks very green there.

Those eucalyptus trees look like our US eastern sycamore trees.

It is much greener than we expected to be honest. We expected it to be alot more barren due to the lack of rainfall outside winter. Didn't realise how hardy this vegetation was until I came here. Flowers all year round is nice aswell but also very strange.

True the main difference of course is that eucalyptus is evergreen so those trees look like that all year around. It makes winters feel more pleasant here as most of the vegeation stays green and flourishes.

January 2023.

Friend of mine converts an open pool house into a Greenhouse for winter to keep plants alive through winter..

Has 2 electric heaters and 2 small heat fans. Stays in the 40s and 50s in there which is enough to keep them alive. Even when it drops below 20°F (-7C) outside.

Tangerines in Connecticut in January. :-)

This is the protection they use to keep them enclosed. Pretty interesting panels
