It's beginning to look like the 17.0C recorded on the 11th might be the highest we get all month.

We did get to 19.0C a couple of times in April, but this would still be the lowest absolute high for May since 1983. It would also be the first time in 21 years that we've gone into summer still waiting for our first 20C day.
